Why would one want to raise the ratio of glucose to fructose? If anything, as far as I understand, you want it as close to 1:1 as possible for anyone with even a slightly compromised metabolism. This would be why Ray heavily promotes sucrose (1:1 ratio) and says anyone without ideal digestion/metabolism should avoid starches.
