How dangerous is Radioactivity? Galen Winsor

I came up with some videos about Galen Winsor. He worked for decades in the nuclear industry and claimed that radioactivity and uranium are not harmful, he ate uranium in his presentations. I'm just getting into it but his claims are so anti-peat I had to share it with you.

Albeit he was reckless with material handling at work, for public demonstrations it seems he was careful with the type of material he ingested and the type of exposure he endured. For example the water in spent fuel rod pools that he used to swim in absorbs most of the radiation deep within the pool leaving very little radiation (assuming no dissolved material contamination from the rods). The uranium material he ingested was insoluble in water and stomach acid so it would virtually all pass through his digestive tract (unlike radium).

How come he didn't eat cesium-137 or strontium-90 or iodine-131? lol
