When reading @haidut's thread on antibiotic effects of Coconut oil+vinegar, a thought occurred to me. What if the greater benefits of honey and maple syrup vs table sugar (apart from added minerals) are from the antibiotic effect of the acids they content. I looked it up and here we go:
