Honey, Maple Syrup Superior To Table Sugars Because Of Acids Content

When reading @haidut's thread on antibiotic effects of Coconut oil+vinegar, a thought occurred to me. What if the greater benefits of honey and maple syrup vs table sugar (apart from added minerals) are from the antibiotic effect of the acids they content. I looked it up and here we go:

I can't tell if this is sarcasm You did say "every time" so I am guessing it is. I don't have anything meaningful to say on the subject, except maybe that maple syrup tastes awesome (I am a red blooded Canadian after all!!!)
