High Diastolic Blood Pressure, Low/normal Systolic?

Hi,

just wondering if anyone knows why this would be? My diastolic pressure runs around 90 but my systolic runs around 100-110. My pulse is usually pretty high (80+) and when they measured it at the doc it was 114. I’ve been reading online but can’t really find anything that explains it other than heart failure.

When I was starting to get better from high blood pressure, I often found that my diastolic would be up if I didn’t remember to eat enough salt. With salt consumption, it would drop 3-5 points without increasing the systolic. Of course, everyone is different!
