High brix level, stays around 4.9. Could it be PUFA related?

I used to eat lots of PUFA but have cut back to about 4 grams per day for the last 6 months or so. Suddenly I can’t get my blood carbohydrate reading down. It used to be around a perfect 1.5 brix in the morning, now it’s consistently around 5.0. (According to RBTI, 1.5-2.0 brix is the ideal reading if all the other test parameters are within range.) The brix meter reads the total carbohydrate load in the urine, not the blood. So, in some cases if the brix reading is high it is not necessarily because the blood sugar is high but because the body is dumping sugar. So, it is possible that, having cut down on PUFA, the body is now consistently dumping lots of excess fat-stored sugar into the urine?

As I understand it, the only way for sugar to be excreted thru urine is as an overflow mechanism for very high blood sugar. It is like a safety valve.

Couldn't there be anything else causing the brix to go up?
