Pregnenolone is a good idea. Ray mentioned that some people were able to wean off cortisone with pregnenolone.

Thanks! Yes I saw that in the Ray peat wiki which made me think it could be a good thing to try.
Hope your mum is doing well with her RA - is she still managing the disease with just diet? That is pretty awesome.
