I'm serious, the increased carbon dioxide will open blood vessels, and optimise metabolism, decreasing glycolytic fermentation.
Also I'm fairly certain that the idea of the heart as a pressure pump is not entirely correct, certainly it simply isn't strong enough to fully explain the flow of blood, blood circulates in embryos before there is a heart, I think metabolism generates a sort of suction, maybe a little like a whirlwind, that draws blood through the body.
Other things that optimise metabolism will also help, thyroid function, coconut oil, etc.
