Hi all,

I'm 23, I have Hashimoto's and my Dr says I don't need to take hormones.
She says my thyroid is still working, even though it has started destructing itself.

My knowledge and understanding of Hashimoto's is very limited... hence any advice would be greatly appreciated.

FYI

TSH: 3.64 UI/mL (0.27-4.20)
T3L: 3.5 pmol/L (3.10-6.80)
T4L: 18?2 pmol/L (12-22)

Antibodies are very high.

Thank you

Tired, lots of spots, threads, or fragments of cobwebs before my eyes, especially in the morning.

Welcome FD8 :)

TSH 3.6 is inside what most drs call 'normal', but quite a bit higher than Peat would say is optimal.
So quite consistent with somewhat hypothyroid function. Measuring waking temps and resting heart rate can give you more information to assess that.

Have you read Peat's articles and interviews on thyroid? I'd recommend, if you haven't. Here are a couple to start with.

Remember we may have ideas here for you to consider/investigate, but we can't give medical advice for you personally.
