Has Anyone Experienced Any Similar Effects From DHEA As Ray Peat?

That I'm aware of, he claimed 1.5" gain in height and certain teeth shifted back in place(wisdom teeth?). Not sure if he also appeared younger due to less wrinkles/better skin; if I'm missing anything else, please mention it.
How can DHEA shift teeth like that? Would it have the same effect on other facial bones?

Cyproheptadine makes my wisdom teeth move everytime I take it.

I'm not taking it right now because I'm not sure it would be a good idea to have my wisdom teeth come out fully, since my dental arches have been narrowed by braces.

@lvysaur has reported hair regrowth and an increase in height, which he attributes mostly to vitamin K.

I do wonder what would happen if I took cypro continuosly. Maybe I'll try it once I sort out my teeth situation. Getting an extra inch in height would sure be awesome.

I've actually experienced this too, but moreso with MK-7 combined with MK-4, than with MK-4 alone. Never taken cypro yet.

The tooth pattern basically becomes more circular, and less parabolic, and the little crookedness that I naturally have straightens out.

I'm reviving this thread because I started taking 10mg DHEA daily about a week ago and now I'm getting pain in many of my lower teeth. I had wisdom teeth ten years ago which caused all my well structured teeth to get very congested, but I haven't had pain or problems like this at all in those ten years. I'm sure the DHEA is somehow connected

Didn't have any of those effects for me. It's certainly possible in theory, though. Increase in igf-1 and GH from dhea is well known. My estrogen is usually rock bottom so it may have just canceled out whatever effect dhea would have on my GH levels.

About a year before we moved out of the house, I was experimenting with DHEA; I had previously been handling progesterone occasionally for several years. I probably took 10 or 15 mg per day, and after a few days there was a sudden change in a mole on my belly, and my horizontal, semi-impacted lower wisdom teeth suddenly began erupting; over a period of a few weeks, they moved into a fully erupted position. I was about 45 at that time. I noticed that my belt was looser, and I had a visible waste, so I checked my weight, and found that I hadn’t lost weight, though considerable fat had disappeared. We were moving out of the house, and before we left we checked our height on the door frame. My younger girl friend was about the same as before, I was considerably taller.

In studies using high doses of oral DHEA, it won’t shift Testosterone much, but does shift SHBG and DHT and Androstenedione

It does so by agonizing the ghrelin receptor, which makes you hungry and therefore stimulates GH production.

I've used it for two years straight, didn't change my penis size, but it definitely causes water retention and better bloodflow which gives me bigger girth.

I don't think the use of androgens past the age of 20 can do anything for penile size.
When the question was asked to several bodybuilders who abused the most androgenic compounds for years or decades, they all said it made no change, aside from the incrased girth from blood flow.

I don't think it caused actual muscle growth or cell multiplication, but it does shuttle more water to the muscles which in a way is muscle growth as muscles are 70% water.
Makes me look fuller, not bloated.

I never measured my blood glucose.
