Hair Loss From Peating

Given that hair loss is a big topic in Ray Peat communities, would it be accurate to conclude that hair loss can be a side effect of Peating? And if this is so, any ideas what it is about the Peat diet that could cause/exacerbate hair loss?

I think it may be due to iron deficiency. Many people on the Peating avoid iron/take aspirin, which reduces the reserves.

I don't think that would be particularly logical. Lots of people have come here in the last few years through Danny Roddy, who is primarily concerned with hair loss - and if you read Broda Barnes/other texts, you may find that hair loss is often a symptom of poor thyroid function. Probably a lot of people are here because they want to solve it, rather than coming here for other reasons then suddenly suffering from it.
