I sent haidut an article in which the Professor of Epidemiology at Yale, who has authored over 300 peer-reviewed publications, says Doxycycline + Zinc + Hydroxychloroquine is "highly effective" against COVID-19.

I thought people might be interested in haiduts reply:

"Had not seen that one, but I don't think there is a need to add the hydroxychloroquine (HCQ) as MB could do the job on its own quite well. There are multiple studies on that, both for coronaviruses and others types. The doxycycline in his combo is probably there mostly for the anti-inflammatory effects and to protect from pneumonia. INstead of HCQ, one can use quinine, which is the parent molecule of HCQ and is much safer. I would stil try MB on its own first before trying any combination as there is plenty of evidence it can do the job by itself, especially when combined with exposure to bright sunlight.

Anywhere you can buy tonic water.

Of course, the issue is the dose you can use, but you can find tonic water syrups pretty easily as well (such as on Amazon) that have a higher concentration of quinine.

Side note- I've been drinking more tonic water recently, and a Methylene Blue and Tonic looks really cool.

Do you think there is a big concern with the artificial sweeteners in tonic water?
(my body doesn't get well with sugar at the moment, so I must avoid it)

I do tend to avoid artificial sweeteners, and the brand that I have uses real cane sugar.

It might depend on the artificial sweetner. There are some brands that use stevia, I think that would be a decent choice. If only using for a short period of time, I don't think it would be a big deal.

I thoroughly enjoy a gin & tonic with a few drops of methylene blue. I drank a lot of it this spring.

A little (clear) alcohol is protective, add quinine, sugar, carbonated water and MB and it's pretty much holy water.

I do make the effort to buy the best quality tonic water which comes in glass bottle, with natural sugar and no syrups, colorants of any kind.

therapeutic dose of quinine is in the range of 500–1000 mg,[4] and 10 mg/kg every eight hours for effective malaria prevention

These doses are for malaria treatment/prevention as the quote says. Much lower doses, on the order of HED about 100mg are known to potentiate the effects of various drugs and have pharmacological effects of their own. From personal experience, 100mg quinine and 2mg-3mg MB can help a lot with the "flu".

What about vitamin K? They are all quinones.

I don't know that you'd want to use Vitamin K in place of Doxycycline. Doxy is a lot more powerful, in my experience. Then again, maybe it's just due to the fact that the doses of doxy are much higher than Vitamin K (100mg vs. 1-15mg).

You’re right, quinones and quinines are different. Quinines look to be oxidized aromatic acids though so maybe they have some similar properties.

The key to defeating COVID-19 already exists. We need to start using it | Opinion

Some of the studies mention "methylene blue (MB)/light system ."
What is the light system?

Did anybody find a good supplement vendor that sells quinine?

Got interested after hearing haidut talk about it on the recent podcast .

Also I saw that there a lot of quinine shampoos out there, so people with hair loss might want to check that out .

It's the second last topic where they talk about quinine.

when the whole thing started, i bought some cinchona bark powder for the quinine (on ebay).
Too bad i threw it out after a couple of months cause it just seemed so unlikely that I'd contract it.
