Can chew rocks with my teeth. Strong as stone according to my dentist. What is the source of this sensitivity (both sides left and right, up and down). It's the teeth that are sensitive, not the gums.
Calcium?

How much sugar/fruit are you eating? Won't be a popular comment here but sugar and fruit did no favours to my dental health.

For me various mouthwash liquids increase teeth sensitivity to cold or heat, like for example sucking air with teeth exposed.
Some say it is because of the acidic nature of these mouthwash substances.

Sugar should create an acidic environment.
Orange juice is also quite low ph (acidic) so it should also affect the teeth probably if one is sensitive.

I know this is an old thread, but:
My brother had this some issue. His dentist told him that it was due to clenching his tight while he slept. The clenching was causing his teeth to shift slightly and the gums to ever so slightly recede. Hence, the tooth pain on that very fine like of tooth right above where it connects to the gum.
