I doubt i'll read the book but it seems to mostly about those with gluten issues but I do think it addresses the dangers of to much fruit consumption

I have been wondering about this. It seems that what these paleo freaks really criticize is deranged blood sugar control, not sugar itself. He mentions glycated hemoglobin (higher when your sugar goes up and down alot) as being higher in people with shrunken brains and Alzhaimer's, as well as being in effect an AGE product.

Also comes to mind, a recent article about sugared water causing "hyperactivity" and altering the levels of 300 proteins in the brain.
