Can anybody recommend an accessible book on the topic of computer sciences/IT/programming and related topics? Especially kind of popular science-primers, easy to understand.
I‘m extremely ignorant and unknowing in that field and hardly had any education on it, neither in school or university nor had a I the need in professional life to catch up.
Basically, I‘m still struggling to grasp how code and programming works. How can code make computers generate graphics, sounds ... how are industrial machines programmed to perform certain actions and so forth. The more basic and digestible the better.
