It's a Marxist "alt media" outlet whose agenda is to put out some conspiracy stuff but for the purpose of blaming the West for it while portraying Eastern Communist countries as the anti-dote to "globalism".

Understood, but it's the context in which they present factual stories, I think, that matters, too. The alt media is largely controlled by the conspirators.

The way Russia Today presents story A and the way The New American presents story A might be totally different.

Russia blames the West for Covid while Western Conservative media outlets blame China (even though Russia is just as much a candidate). Western liberal media blames animals (ridiculously).
