the past year I’ve been doing a lot of peaty things and sticking to it. Except for the fact I’ve been on finasteride for 9 months. I just did some labs today and got them back this evening and wow. It fixed my thyroid up like crazy. My liver enzymes have never been better.

Check it out.

What is your diet like? Is it low fat or high fat? How much carbs and protein were you eating? What supplements did you take? Do you subjectively feel a difference?

Honestly I didn’t feel a huge difference but I did notice more energy and less need for sleep. I think once I saw the results that created this super positive placebo effect.

My diet has consisted of carrots daily. Potatoes. Chicken. Asparagus. Apples. Little red meat. No dairy. Every once a month I take a high dose of potassium iodide for like 2-3 days.

I am drinking tea every other day. My fat intake is moderate. So it’s not low or high.
But my protein intake is high mainly from chicken. I’ve been avoiding pufas hell I think I over did it. I no longer flush from niacin which tells me I may be low on prostaglandins.

Waiting on my testosterone labs coming in tmrw.

Other things that are peaty I take low dose progesterone once a week. Really helps me sleep well.

Low dose Methylene blue once a week. But it’s honestly very sporadic. I haven’t been sick in 3 years and I attribute it to methylene blue stopping anything in its tracks.

I supplement magnesium and zinc every other day

Zero alcohol.

If one doesn't or can't at the moment increase their calcium: phosphorous ratio, then increasing the intake of fructose/ niacinamide/ acetate can help lower phosphorous levels in the body, therefore lowering PTH.

TSH is a poor indicator of thyroid function, body temperature, LDL and free t3 + reverse t3 are useful
