AI, as currently marketed to the general public, is a complete scam, or at least a pipe dream for the ones who truly believe in it when they market it. The only way digital AI will approach "human" general intelligence is if the human intelligence is deliberately regressed and human behavior mechanized to the point where it is almost indistinguishable from a so-called "formal system". So, the machine can then easily emulate it and BigTech can proclaim the arrival of "general AI"...that cannot even order pizza (see link below) over the phone on its own. There is nothing "intelligent" or "groundbreaking" about such "achievement" and it would probably mark the beginning of the end for the human race as it would signal that human intelligence has declined below the critical point needed to maintain innovation and, thus, civilization.

Perhaps the aim of the Covid injection is to achieve the control of human intelligence and behaviour. I agree that we are far from achieving this, however, when I look at the ways in which our food/water supply is being poisoned , prescriptions of SSRIs, and changes in the education system I wonder if we are not heading in that direction. There are some who believe that the aim of the transhuman movement is the end of humanity as we know it.

This is not specific to religion but the conversation is relevant

Religion, to me, has at least two factors.
1. God, the authority. As noted above, this is used to control society's behavior.
2. The individual need. We use a 'god' to help us understand our own urges and others', such as aggression, lust, and scapegoating.

So, it depends how AI will affect those :)
