Little bit studying here. I'm a bit confused over the various forms of sugar. Good, better, best or bad.

Glucose, what has it, is it good or not? From what I can see it's not a form to prefer, but would be happy to get some help.

Maybe we could put together a list of the varius forms for the confused ones to get the idea ;)

glucose alone is not that good. But when there is a mix of glucose and fructose as in most fruits, honey and table sugar, it is
very healthy. Fructose alone is not good either. Fructose helps to metabolize glucose and glucose helps to increase tolerance to fructose. Another sugar is lactose, a mix of glucose and galactose, is a very good sugar. Starch is all glucose. In nature most fruits, honey and sucrose comes with 1:1 glucose fructose and in milk it is 1:1 glucose galactose. There is a study that showed liver glycogen storage is optimal when ratio of glucose to fructose 3:1 . Fructose also helps with increasing carbon dioxide, which is a goal in RP style eating.
