i have noticed by accident after having a glass of milk at bedtime I wake up feeling more refreshed.

Did it again last night and had a really good sleep with some dreams on waking (I don’t normally dream).

The amount is just under half a pint.

Any ideas on what is helping here?

your mind, rent free
calcium, sugar, everything.

dreams are supposed to come more readily with vitamin b6, but milk isnt a particularly rich source of that, so your experience is a bit interesting

Just a heads-up, this is a topic that has been discussed many many times on this forum with answers to your question.

A quick search of "milk + bed" would have saved you a post.

Starting new threads on well-worn topics just makes it more difficult for new members to get accurate info quickly.:darts:

Milk contains riboflavin and riboflavin is required to activate B6 and all the other b-vitamins. So it makes a lot of sense.
