I know this is an old thread, but I was searching for the forum about estrogen. I started puberty very young, developing breasts, etc., but didn't actually start menstruating until I was 14. I remember my mother giving me the "talk" about periods and stuff when I was pretty young--11--and I waited for years and years for the damn period to start. My little sister who is two years younger than me had her period for a full three years before I started mine. However, I had symptoms of PCOS almost immediately. I was also fed soy formula as an infant.
