Ginkgo inhibits 5-HT activity in platelets, is antienemic (via either inhibiting 5-HT generally or due to specific 5-HT3 receptor antagonizing properties), and increases spontaneous erections (due to upregulating tyrosine hydroxylase and thus dopamine production in the VTA and PVN in the brain).

Very interesting supplement.

Seems to go well with ginger. Ginger is also a 5-HT3 antagonist.

Ginkgo also can cause anxiety by blocking Glycine and GABA, but it is a decent herb...

5-HT3 antagonists might make anxiety worse for people with low GABA, but maybe the 5-HT2A can help to offset it, by lowering neural adrenaline and increasing neural noradrenaline.
Lol @Frankdee20 epic synergy

Supplementing Ginkgo always made me feel awesome, but it thins my blood too much.

Thank You - good info. Seems like many were taking Ginkgo in the '90s - then things got quiet - probably worked too well.
