If you have stopped taking the anti-coagulant drug warfarin, please share your experiences. I'll also appreciate any relevant studies.

In principle, aspirin, progesterone, vitamin E, anti-serotoninergics, good thyroid function, and adequate protein and salt can all help prevent excessive clotting. I'm interested in the nuts and bolts of what regimens people used to replace warfarin, how quickly they tapered off warfarin, how they monitored their condition, etc.

Thank you.

A friend has managed to cut the dose by 3/4 and stay in INR reference range with the main changes being vitamin d supplementation and moderately peaty changes to diet. Also tribulus might be partially responsible.

Sounds like great progress; I'm happy for your friend. Thanks for the information.
