Ganodermataceae Mushrooms

Anyone ever heard of Ganodermataceae mushrooms? One of my male siblings is interested in using this for problems with prostate and urinary issues. Since I don't have those parts, would love to hear if anyone on this platform has ever tried it and to what, if any, success. Can't find anything on it when I search it + Ray Peat or on @haidut's blog.

According to this study: Use of Ganoderma lucidum (Ganodermataceae, Basidiomycota) as Radioprotector and this study: Ganoderma lucidum (Lingzhi or Reishi) - Herbal Medicine - NCBI Bookshelf. Ganodermataceae is considered a part of the Reishi family. Would these require boiling ahead?
