Hi,
Twitter led me to this forum.
For 2 years I've been on keto/low carb, then more of a "ancestral" diet (if my great-great-great grandparents didn't eat it, I won't either) for over a year and since like a month I've implemented some of Ray Peat's ideas to great effect so far.
Issues I mostly have is sinus inflammation and sore throat, I think it's caused by candida in my mouth (would welcome ideas how to tackle it - is coconut oil flushing a good idea?). I'm sneezing hard in the mornings. I'm also snoring some of the nights. Adding a protein + sugar meal right before sleep (or drinking milk with honey) gave me better sleep and less symptoms in the morning, but it's still a problem.
Apart from my usual supplements (D3, magnesium, zinc, calcium) I've added pregnenolone, niacinamide and aspirin/willow bark tea. More energy, less "depressed"/sad.
Anyways, glad to be here!
Cheers,
m.
