I'm not sure if this is the right forum for this, but I figured either here or Hormones, so feel free to move my thread if this is in the wrong place. I was directed to this forum for help with my girlfriend's issue.
Okay, here's the story. About a year ago I was at an arcade, a girl approached me nervously flirting. I initially rolled my eyes at her and dismissed her. She had "problem glasses" and short dyed hair shaved on the sides. I thought "Oh great, here comes tumblr" but she was cute. As she flirted I told her she was cute and had a feminine figure but I wasn't sure if we'd exactly get along. She corrected me, telling me she was a guy, and giving me her legal, male name. I was shocked. I think I blurted something out like "With those hips...?" I didn't want to have an argument in public about it, but I sat down and talked with her, and I just leveled with her about my beliefs. "You have female chromosomes." "You can still get pregnant and you don't produce sperm." "Ever heard of Dennis Avner?" "Have you seen that die cis scum video?" I tried to discuss it without being mean, and I left it at that. The conversation ended on friendly terms, and we swapped contact information.
I guess that was all the nudge she needed. Just someone saying "Hey, you look really feminine." She went full blast back into being a girl. Started growing her hair out, bought a bunch of skirts and dresses and make up, felt embarrassed about the trans thing. Despite being really attractive, because of that identification she hadn't dated all through high school. After that, I fell for her and we started dating. A year later we're still together, she's still really sweet and stable, we thus far not had a fight, I'm actually continually surprised this might be the most stable, healthy relationship I've been in.
Thing is she's self-conscious. She doesn't know how to tell all her friends and family she wants to go back to being a girl. Her mother's been giving her a testosterone shot every month for quite a while. She's embarrassed about her enlarged clit, which I think looks fine.
Basically I was directed here for advice on what to give her to correct her hormone levels, possibly induce additional breast growth, and (this doesn't bother me at all but she's extremely self-conscious about it) if possible make her clit go back to closer to the way it looked before she started testosterone.
Also, how dramatically is this likely to impact future attempts at pregnancy should we decide we want kids?
