Try reducing your consumed volume of liquids and increasing your salt intake. (Maybe remove the tea and cola, and add dry table sugar to your coffee or milk.)

I've been salting my milk and OJ but I forgot to note that. I'll try adding dry sugar to my milk and OJ since they are not calorie dense enough.

Sleep: Decent. Woke up a couple of times to go to the bathroom but was able to fall asleep again.

Sleep: Horrible - woke up in the middle of the night with extreme hunger and had 2 cliff bars to help fall asleep. Woke up again with extreme hunger and had 8 0z of sucrose sweetened caffeine free cola.

Saturday April 16th and Sunday April 17th

Went away for part of the weekend and it screwed up my whole peat diet.

Did Peat diet on Saturday mostly but didn't' finish my 1/2 gallon of milk or OJ. In the evening I had a Quaker Chewy dip bar. Said no PUFA on label but had soy oil in it. Also had a Klondike bar.

Today I had french toast and a bread stick at a restaurant. Had some honey bunches of oats cereal and dark chocolate with Soy Lecithin. :(

Had some Peat Stuff such as coffee with sugar, OJ, and milk but this weekend was a disaster diet wise. :(

Last night I had trouble sleeping. I think the nights I have trouble sleeping are when I eat protein too late in the day.

I think you're taking too much B2. You need to eat more carbohydrate before bed. 100-200 grams should be enough, sugar ideally.

Your dizziness and sleep difficulty is likely caused by adrenergic activity. You can help this by slowing your breathing rate, increasing your caloric intake, stressing less (as in not at all), and keeping a regular sleep schedule. Taping your mouth has been recommended as well.

I'll look into adjusting the B2 this weekend.

I figured my sleep difficulty was caused by adrenergic activity. Yet, it sometimes happens even when I have pancakes before bed through. I think I need to get more calories through the day to sleep better but that is a challenge while keeping grains to a minimum. Also, I think my liver is not yet good at storing glycogen. My poor sleep began during my ketogenic days so I messed up something in my body that I'm trying to fix.

I am a mouth breather but taping my mouth shut is not an option. Breathing through my nose has always been difficult.

  • Had vivid dreams while asleep but when waking up in the middle of the night and trouble falling back asleep
  • Woke up earlier than usual with a headache - felt like a caffeine headache oddly even though I had caffeine yesterday.
  • Urine smelled like what I think is ammonia although I'm not 100% sure what ammonia smells like.
