Well my stress hormones were definitely off the chart. When I am stressed out, the seborrheic dermatitis (SB) always flares up. And this adrenaline response is definitely stressing my body because the SB is on the rampage. After taking taurine yesterday, my SB is much better today. Btw, haven't taken any taurine today, drank my coffee, drank some coke, and not much adrenaline at all, just slightly.

Maybe this is estrogenic stuff happening, dang nabbit I dont know.

I think I do want to take some flowers of sulfur internally though. Just want to know exactly how to take it. With food, how much, what do I do?

The sulfur has cleared up the thrush a lot, but it hasn't entirely knocked it out yet. I am just touching it to my tongue like Ray Peat suggested. I really like the taste and smell of it though. Brings back some old memories.

Hi Charlie,

In the Q and A Part 1 with Josh Rubin Peat said "A pinch a day for 3 days" or one teaspoon once a year. Both doses would clear up any candida excess and Kill all parasites - It turns their blood to sulfuric acid which I thought was pretty cool. What you would put that teaspoon in I don't know. Does it taste ok? Do you just down it as is?
He said men in the 1900's used to use the spoonful a year to ensure no parasites etc.

All I can find are large tubs of Equine "Flowers of Sulphur" I assume this is exactly the same and is safe for human consumption in small doses as they seem to be 100% "Flowers of sulphur". Hmmm, unsure. 5kg is a bit too much aswell

Thanks, kettlebell!

Charlie, I wanna try it too!
I think it would be wonderfully anti-hypochondriacal
to be assured that I had no parasites!
And, more reasonably,
to feel assured that I am not infested with rampant candida!
That is perhaps a reasonable fear:
as I say, since I had/have thrush,
it would seem likely to me those the lousy candidas
would've circumspectly only executed a surgical strike on my mouth.

Charlie-
In trying to rally our courage to try the internal sulfur caper...
"A Pinch" doesn't sound too scary.

I wonder, if you took "a pinch" x 3,
would that amount to about a teaspoon?

These do not sound like dangerous, humanly poisonous amounts.
Especially given that products like "flowers of sulfur"
are not marked with a skull and crossbones.

As for the delivery vehicle, if one is needed,
I've seen old-time, home remedies which
use molasses--the sulphur mixed in the molasses.
I suppose just to mask the taste.

Have you noted any bad reactions when you administer the minute doses to your tongue?
Do you swallow that?

I guess if you just "touch your tongue" with some of it several times,
you're approaching a "pinch," right?

That might be a way to go,
if the taste is not too horrible:
measure out a "pinch."
Then "touch" portions of that to our tongue until the entire pinch is used.
Then swallow.
That would focus first on the thrush,
then, after swallowing, would go after any internal candida.
If that went okay,
then we could repeat 2 more days....

It tasted good to me naouz. Maybe I am sulfur deficient?

When I put it on my tongue, it seemed like the taste buds at the back of my mouth got sore, and also it gave me a little bit of a sore throat. Nothing else that I can report. There is just a slight bit of thrush hanging on, so maybe I will do another "touching" of it. I used a very tiny bit of sulfur, I would say maybe a 10th of a pinch.

Let's let KB be the test subject on the pinches of sulfur this time! Nothing I have been doing lately is going right. :?

Just tried a little. Doesn't seem to taste of anything. Hmm.. Think it could be like that Zinc test thing where if you taste it you don't need it??

Yeah I saw an article explaining how brimstone and treacle works but forgot to bookmark it. The sugar and sulphur form something - sulfated something or other
