This is what I thought of as a "Peat Drink,"
because vodka comes (or it did originally, anyway) from Potatoes,
and then OJ, of course...

...the weird thing is that Liquor in general isn't a good high for me.
It just sortuv makes me sleepy/sedated,
not lively and crazy.

I want beer.
But I know Peat says it is estrogenic. :(

Context narouz...context...

I'm not gonna stop having my whisky or my beer - but I have noticed that I don't crave for alkohol like I used to do.

The Ray Peat Forum is alive today! There are so many posts.

Been another busy last couple of days. I woke up to 20 new posts this morning, that was a record.

The coolest part is seeing new people come here, and already starting to get results for themselves. Pretty awesome!

I hardly ever drink liquor,
but I'm going out to have some Tangeray gin in orange juice.
Wish me luck.

I will be flying the goose tonight. Grey goose vodka, clear, non estrogenic alcohol. Chased with orange juice from a carton.

What actually is the deal on beer? I saw the comment earlier about its being estrogenic.

Would anyone like to go into this further?

Is wine any better or worse?

When I went low-carb, I cut out all beer since it's full of sugar.

However, Peat is sugar-friendly, so from that point of view, beer would be ok, but then it's also made from grain. Is that what makes it estrogenic?

Are there any positives for beer?

Are there any positives for wine?

(I hope my sense of desperation isn't showing through too badly....).
