You've found (a) 1500 Watt incandescent bulb/s? And a way to install and connect it/them safely? That surprises me.
If you haven't figured out a safe way to use a 300 Watt bulb yet, then please don't attempt 1500 Watts.

If you have solved all the safety issues, then I'd recommend just not bringing it too close. Don't let yourself get uncomfortably hot.

Getting some of that infrared is part of the point of getting the incandescent bulbs. Why do you want to filter it out?

I think there are people here suggesting benefits from some other wavelengths too. Maybe it depends what for. There are some long threads.

If you want a very narrow frequency range, have you looked into LEDs? They use less power, and therefore pose less fire hazard.

ya but the cri is like 80-85 so the red and orange don't come out as rich and they are difficult to build when buying chip heatsink etc.

I don't think getting wired for 1500 Watts would come cheap.
