Don't mean to sound weird but Dr. Peat's voice is very stress-relieving...

If estrogen increases from 20s upwards then why are babies' brains larger the older a woman gets?

EDIT: nvm, it's probably because every pregnancy increases progesterone exposure for the next pregnancy, so every future pregnancy will lead to bigger brains until the mother hits around 40

Excellent info on progesterone, thyroid and pregnancy. Thanks @Inaut.
@lampofred, it was known in the peasant villages of my mother (1950s); Drs would recommend to women who suffered from PMS and general feeling unwell to get pregnant and women were told, the more babies, the healthier they would be. No wonder those Irish women were a formidable breed.

Dr. Peat's voice is very stress-relieving...

Must be all that progesterone coming out in his voice. I could easily get addicted to pregnancy; truly the most optimised time of a woman's life.
