Last week my wife asked the saleswoman in the local shop if she could bring her something for our toddler to the outside (some shops are doing this). She apologized saying that she got the order from the manager to not do it anymore.

I know, I would “shop local” a lot more if the small independent stores weren’t the absolute worst for enforcing the fake mandates. At this point if they’re still turning away customers and they can’t see their government is actively trying to put them out of business, then they deserve everything they get.
