Would it be wise to limit the blue light from my computer screen in the daytime by adjusting my f.lux timezone to the other side of the world?

You can simply click on the setting and set both day and night time to halogen.
This way you will get 3400 K all the time. I felt a big improvement in sleep
once i changed day time setting to 3400 k.

Some of you may not have noticed this, but there's now an "Incandescent" setting in f.lux that goes to 2700K.

I'm using f.lux + an amber filter on the computer screen. But I don't use f.lux down to 2700K, at least now, everything is too orange.

I just realized I designed the colors here with f.lux on. Ugggggh. Sorry everyone. :(

If anything, please install f.lux and view the site through there until I can change out the colors. I did not realize how blue it is. It's all j's fault, yeh.

Less blue I would think. With the newest update you can now go all the way down to 1200(Ember). I have been using 1900(candle).

Read the first part of the f.lux page and they explain why blue is bad near bedtime.

Flux is the only way I can get sleepy on the computer. It really does wire my brain a lot like sunshine.

Just read this tip from Stephan Guyenet.

If you open your flux program and click on the stacked 3 horizontal bar menu thing next to settings, there is a "lighting at night' option. When you hit that you have the option of setting it to ember (1200k). Pretty cool!
