Ever since getting the vaccine, I've been having a unique experience.

When I am in bed at night, my head/brain will ZAP.

I feel it in the back of my head by my ears. If there is a sound, the sound is momentarily affected, like during my use of white noise, it would quickly go from hssssssssssss to hsssssssZIPsss.

This appears to be related to vagus nerve, however I don't remember why I think this.

It happens SELDOM while I am awake, but sporadically if I shift my eyes to the side really quick.

I saw a video on youtube about this exercise that makes you yawn, and it's supposed to reset the vagus nerve. Now I can yawn just thinking about the exercise, as just happened right now.

Teach me about the vagus nerve and what it does, and routines to help reset it or calm it down. I'm experiencing and have experienced a lot of psychological trauma, additionally.

Exhale longer than you inhale, this relaxes the vegas nerve. so breath in for 4 counts and then out for 8 counts slowly. repeat and repeat as long as you can.
