How has that been proven?
Sorry, I shouldn't have used the word proven.
I should have said there is strong evidence supporting ...
If you want to get down to biomechanics, Sapolsky's early research includes a good demonstration with a closely-related species. I'll see if I can find the nice long youtube video describing it. There are also larger epidemiological ones on human populations.

I was in a seminar at Rutgers with a professor from Princeton making this argument. I tried to get into it with him but I was only a grad student and he didn't appreciate me questioning his assertion. He seemed to be making the argument that people are happier if no one in society has any yachts, than if everyone has at least one and some people have ten. Furthermore, this assertion always come with it "therefore socialism," aka therefore forced/violent expropriation of property. You'll forgive me if my bar for "proof" that such a program is necessary would be a bit higher than, say, a dietary recommendation.

Bag breathing is one thing that has definitely helped my condition - mulitiple traumas.

Soporific all the time, no energy, brain fog and terrible sleep hangover. Unhealthy sleep states overlapping into waking. But with regular bag breathing I'm losing that hangover and wake up usually more refreshed. I didn't know, though, that you can do it for so long, like 2 hours. I may increase now. Especially for what I think may be a H. Pylori flare up.

But one question about oximeters. Isn't that unreliable? If the oximeter reading is high after BB, is that good or bad? Shouldn't the O2 be in the tissues and cells?
