eating cod liver (not the oil)

Would eating 4oz of actual cod liver every day be considered toxic?

I don't know how much oil is in 4oz cod liver, but I'm guessing it's more than a teaspoon, and that that is more fish oil than Peat woulf consider ideal, on a regular basis.

Bumping this thread. To me this seems like a great source of liver in general, as it comes from wild fish in the far north. Although there could be problems from the metal container possibly, cod liver is kept in its own oil rather than a plant oil. I had some the other day and was pretty good. Any further thoughts on this?

I've been curious about cod liver as well; especially as a way to get vitamin D. But after looking up the nutritional content, it seems very high in PUFA—just as expected:
