I was listening to one of the videos from east west healing ( Josh Rubin) and he mentions that L. bulgaricus produces lactic acid? So by that logic should I stay away from Yogurts with L. bulgaricus as well as ground meats? Since the liver tries to convert lactic acid into usable glucose?

Here is Yoplaits ingredients
INGREDIENTS: Pasteurized Grade A Reduced Fat Milk, Sugar,Strawberries, Modified Corn Starch, Kosher Gelatin, NaturalFlavor, Pectin, Colored with Carmine, Yogurt Cultures (L. bulgaricus, S. thermophilus, L. acidophilus), Vitamin AAcetate, Vitamin D3.

The L. stands for Lactobacillus and all of them will convert sugars to lactic acid, which is a stress on your liver.

I see :( ok thank you. I was really digging those yogurts. Time to scour the net for yogurts that don't contain that.

Nevermind the lactic acid, Yoplait is not yogurt.

Peat mentioned strained yogurt (e.g Greek) is better.
