is there a difference? I have both, and I feel like I can take a higher dose of the dry ones without any bad effects. The softgel seems to give me hypercalcemia even at lower dose.

I know this is just broscience but is there actually a difference? The only other reason I can consider is the softgels I have are overdosed.

I don't know why, but I had low serum levels while taking a chalky vitamin D tablet. I started on soft gels and levels rose quickly. I have been using an oral spray for past 9 months and blood levels good with that too.
