I really don't have to know you, nor have the desire either.

Tell me then, how do you make your conclusion that Trump is evil? Do you know him personally? If not, then what are your sources for making this conclusion? I mentioned Rachel Maddow, but it could have been other sources. If you had your choice, who would you rather have as your president?

The inanity of leftists is truly astounding. Trump was elected on broad support for: immigration restriction, a fix for the healthcare rackets, less foreign interventionism (Obama escalated two wars and started at least three more).

Trump gets a B- on foreign policy so far (In contrast to Obama's F, and W's F minus). On the other two issues of immigration and healthcare Trump has proved a con-man who lied through his teeth. Any D candidate could run with fixing the racketeering in healthcare and restricting immigration and be assured of victory. But they can't, because they're born losers more interested in: 1) stroking each other with soothing identity politics; 2) Promising free ***t we can't afford as a nation; 3) Importing infinity poor foreigners and promising them stuff so they can win elections forever.

Tulsi is literally the only national democrat with a damn thing to say. The party is a pathetic, corrupt joke. There are at least *a few* republicans pressing important issues in serious ways. The only smart democrats I know of are totally marginalized and demoralized. As a party the Ds are 100% about selling out the country to failed socialist and mass immigration schemes and there's not much more to it than that.

People who voted for him are the people that need to be persuaded in 2020 to help any other candidate win and insulting them is a great way to persuade them to vote for Trump again. Actually I think he is the opposite of peat. Seems to be very into determinism and I don’t think he ever talks about the socio economic stress of life. Where as Peat talks about helplessness, Mate blames lack of receptors...

Beyond this, Maté has a theory of addiction rooted in childhood abuse. Maté combines his clinical experiences with brain research claiming the source of addiction is in formative brain chemicals. For Maté, the first five years of life (and even the environment in the womb) dictate the likelihood of addiction. He then relates this theoretical point of view to studies connecting stress, abuse and lack of love and attachment to not only life problems (as they have been for some time) but to deficiencies in people's ability to process endorphins and dopamine—the neurochemicals in our bodies that provide us with both pleasure and pain relief.
Maté then claims that addiction results from deficiencies (lack of receptors) in these neuro-systems that cause people with addictions to self-medicate to replace their missing neurostimulation. In this sense, people are addicted to drugs as replacements for the brain chemicals their own bodies fail to process. Those addicted to things other than drugs are reacting to the same internal chemistry, but with different external stimulants.

I understand, but that just means our approach is to specifically and relentlessly share the fallacy that you can somehow be "socially liberal" while condeming the very people you pretend to care about with a zealous advocacy of "liberal" economics.

I'm not sure if it was posted here but there was a pretty protracted conversation with Bernie Sanders on the rogan podcast recently.



It's probably a decent thing to share to those that believe they're politically engaged just by watching corporate news.



This second video is short but a great way to outline the fallacy of neoliberalism to those that are disengaged, too.

It's literally up to people like us to challenge the current dogma and to cut through propaganda with reasoned argument. The media will never ever do it for us.
