It feels like every time I try to take D I start getting muscle twitches and heart palpitations, which I have usually associated with low calcium.

why is this? does that mean hypothyroidism has excess vitamin K2 and A, or are all of them used rapidly?Vitamin D is needed for calcium absorption. In hypothyroidism, vitamin D is used up rapidly.
how does it have both those effects?Vitamin D increase the need for calcium if you are calcium deficient, but decrease the need for calcim when you are calcim replete.
Either way, it is beneficial.
