Does Ray have lipofuscin on his hands?

Would you consider these as a lipofuscin?

Is it impossible to avoid lipofuscin entirely and just getting it on the hands at that age is not a big deal?
These are Rays hands in around 2015 or maybe a bit earlier.

The right hand patch does look like a liver spot (aka lipofuscin). My aunt had them all her life and her liver is not in good health right now. I hope it's not that on Ray...

Could be smudge of charcoal. That’s what he is using while sketching
