Is anyone able to clarify the red light/Vitamin A requirements for me?

Does exposure to red light increase requirements, or only that which is shone into the eyes? (Vitamin A is called retinol after all...)

Red light I think increases steroidogenesis, which uses vitamin A.

If I recall correctly, you also use a UV bulb, and vitamin D increases vitamin A requirements.

The best source of vitamin A is liver. If that's not enough, some people use red palm oil. Vitamin E allows the body to store more vitamin A in the liver and to use it more efficiently.
