“Seeds,” the second in a series of short films examining how Bill Gates and others are pushing the industrial agriculture model on African farmers, examines seed privatization laws and the threat they pose to farmers, biodiversity and local food security.

In April the Ethiopian government confirmed that it had signed a deal to create a national database of student and teacher IDs using a decentralised digital identity solution. The deal involves providing IDs for 5 million students across 3,500 schools which will be used to store educational records.

This is the largest blockchain deal ever to be signed by a government and has been making waves in the crypto-asset industry.

Britain has substantial interests in Africa.
Funny very hard to find a map showing UK interests in Africa - didn’t actually - found this one article showing UK FDI in Africa is mainly extractive and in South Africa. See image. Great map of China in Africa - 2010 - they have vastly increased in the last few years.

Interesting thanks @Lollipop2

I posted this report a while back, see attached. It might have more information.

From the report

This report reveals the degree to which British companies now control Africa’s key mineral resources, notably gold, platinum, diamonds, copper, oil, gas and coal. It documents how 101 companies listed on the London Stock Exchange (LSE) — most of them British — have mining operations in 37 sub-Saharan African countries.
They collectively control over $1 trillion worth of Africa’s most valuable resources.,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Under the guise of the UK helping Africa in itseconomic development (a mere continuationof the colonial paternal narrative), $134 billion has flowed into the continent each year in the form of loans, foreign investment and aid. However, the British government has aided and abetted the extraction of $192 billion from Africa mainly in profits by foreign companies, tax dodging and the cost of adapting to climate change.

This report also highlights British mining companies being at the forefront of environmental degradation in Africa. It also shows mining operations of British companies being associated with killings in or near mine areas, unfair and often forced resettlement programmes, labour rights and abuses.

THE LOOTING MACHINE (2015) - By TOM BURGIS - (AUDIOBOOK)

View: https://www.bitchute.com/video/Ht8X2P9PgHtR/

An extremely engaging and disturbing work of investigative journalism, The Looting Machine tells the tale of the systematic theft of Africa's natural wealth in the post-colonial world. Burgis is incredibly well-researched and thorough in his investigation of the 'looting machines' which make some of the wealthiest nations in the world, the poorest.
