Several lines of evidence suggest that polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) play a role in myelination. Unsaturated fatty acids are essential constituents of all cell membranes, and the myelin sheaths around axons are formed from the membranes of oligodendrocytes.

This does not mean that all PUFAs are necessarily good or bad. But based on all of the evidence O6 is indisputably harmful while O3 can exert some positive effects.

Are there any interviews I can listen to where Peat discusses his stance on DHA in-depth?
Read Atom Bergstroms books on yellow fat disease.

Im not sure about eating any eggs, meat, or any seafood. Id rather stick to milk, yogurt, possibly whey, and small amounts beef liver. All kinds of issues with eggs, meats and even cheeses
Thats ridiculous, so many health benefits and people doing great on eggs, meat and seafood.. many people also have problems with dairy

Just eat quality eggs, meat, milk and lowfat seafood? Why the need to supplement everything...? Just eat real food
That is the best answer. Really is the best answer. Some folks have the hardest time accepting the simplest and best answer. Just stick with what is natural and the way God designed it and chances of success go up.

seafood has a pollution problem and maybe naturally occurring toxins in shellfish, might be why shellfish are restricted in some religions. eggs have pufa, are inflammatory, extremely tough to digest protein, seem to cause major gas in people. I think Ray eats eggs for personal taste preference and when liver isn't available. i think he mentioned they have similar nutrients for liver. but beef liver has very little overall fat and pufa and digests better. for metabolically compromised people, eggs may not work well. imo the ideal is using milk, with some good quality yogurt or whey for protein, orange juice, organic cane sugar, other fruit juices/fruits/dried fruits, and a few ounces beef liver per week. a high meat diet has the phosphorus and lack of calcium problem.
the dairy issues imo are due to A1 protein, poor quality milk whether raw or not, non grass fed milk, milk with added vitamins and added ingredients.
but it seems some people are having issues with eggs or milk due to childhood vaccines causing reactions to consuming those things. if thats the case those kinds of people would react to even the best quality, organic, soy/corn/grain free milk and eggs

Hans just released and article showing eggs are incredibly healthy and anti-inflammatory. But some people do better on different foods than others. There is no perfect food that is good for everyone
