I'm 7 days post op of getting a mass removed off my tonsil. Last night, I started getting cold sweats and had a 100.4 temp. So I went to hospital a bit scared of getting an infection.
They looked at mouth, said looks to be healing well, but gave me pain med (toradol) and a steroid for inflammation (dexamethasone).
Isnt this worse if I have an infection or will just mask it?
Can someone please share thoughts and help me put my mind to ease as I'm stressing enough?
