Just wanted to mention that there are some other anti-depressant options besides SSRIs such as Wellbutrin and I think Effexor. So, if someone wanted to try an antidepressant, there are some other choices. I am on Wellbutrin, and my older son has been on antidepressants since he was in his teens pretty much. It's very hard to see your child suffer from mood problems.
