Hi everyone,

I just came across this interview.
This guy went vegan, not sure what he ate before.
I know there are a lot reasons for having acne/skin issues.

My acne it's not that bad, but I have sill breakouts, yet red marks, scars, blackheads. General my skin doesn't look normal. It makes me feel depressed.

I am working on that, I don't think I get enough vit.A and zinc from food, I supplement vit.A but no zinc.
I plan to try also red light therapy.

Zinc/Vit A deficiency
Liver/Gut Toxicity
High IGF-1 levels
SIBO

Those are your main causes

Add Zinc/Vit A
Probiotics/Berberines/Turmeric/Vit A/Fiber/Milk Thistle/Vit C
Reduce (not low) Carbs or Carb/Protein combo. BALANCE insulin levels
Cats Claw/Berberines/Chaga Mushroom(high in Zinc)

There are many more things. To much to list. But this should be a good start. Even though Probiotics may be anti-Peat I have found these to be immensely helpful not to mention how these good bugs protect your body from so many toxins. Plus, Peat isn't right about everything. Do your research and find what works for your unique body. :sunglasses:

This guy drinks a gallon of water a day and aims for 12 servings of vegetables(mostly green and cruciferous).

I wonder if he actually used local milk if his results would be any different.

I notice gut issues from store bought heavily processed milk but not the local ones.

Anecdotally, I noticed my acne clear up on a low carb diet.

Acne is just another sign of inflammation. So discard:

- methionin
- oils
- PUFAs
- insulin spiking foods

That’s usually a good start. A whole foods vegan diet will do all of the above I guess, but a bit of dairy, shellfish, gelatin/broth, eggs may not hurt it depends on how many are eaten. Gelatin is definitely my favorite. Get sunlight, eat yams+carrots; some zinc and vitamin E won’t hurt
