Ingredients:

1 cup coconut water
10 pitted dates

Directions:

Blend until smooth
(serves 1)

Nutrients:

62 grams of carbohydrates (51 grams of sugar and 0 starch)
3.5 grams protein
1 gram fat
Calcium
Copper
Magnesium
Manganese
Potassium
Vitamins B2, B5, and B6

They must be really concentrated on sugar to be causing the body temp increases being reported. Or maybe it's something else in them??

I make the same smoothie. I soak the dates overnight and blend in the morning, or just eat the soaked dates and drink the water. So delicious and great when fruit variety runs low in the winter.

Yes I love dates, I buy the organic ones by the 5kg box here in Oz. Funnily enough, they import them from California so you guys must be able to pick up those very cheap!
