Cyst In Glute Muscle, Infected Treatment Help

A friend of mine seems to have a cyst in his glute muscle, it is causing him a lot of pain and he seems to think that it has got infected somehow. He is going to the doctor on Monday to give it a closer look. He had typical symptoms of an infection, fever etc, chills etc, took a few antibiotics and seemed to get better but

I was wondering if anyone has any experience in treating internal cysts like this? I was thinking a large dose of methylene blue and red light to fight the infection. Also penetrating near infrared light to help blood flow and healing.
