Current Forum Frame Size And Color At 100% Zoom Level

Is it just me or the forum became really narrow recently at 100% zoom level? Also, what is the point of having this thick brown empty space on both sides of the screen? Half of the screen is just wasted. I'm visiting other forums with similar engine and it looks normal and not so narrow.

Thank you both. But I'm wondering, was it just a color change? I don't remember that large brown area, surrounding the main forum frame and perhaps due to contrast I think that it became narrow?
In fairness some forums have indeed narrow frame, but some use the full screen width.
