This is true but thing is that some medical procedures are very expensive here and you would not be able to pay it like dialysis when your kidneys are not working.

Kidney failure is one of these diseases that are usually very preventable with the right lifestyle. Of course there are exceptions but they are rare.

If you already have risk factors for kidney failure, you are f***d without insurance anyways.

And if you take good care of your health, it is super unfair to pay the same insurance as someone who smokes, drinks, eats nothing but fast food, is obese and stressed all the time
